General Manager / Owner
Hanna
Harel, General Manager and partner of GCA, plays a vital role in
maintaining GCA’s success. Her dedication to customer service is
unparalleled in the flight training industry. “When I first came to GCA,
before I even sat down in their gorgeous conference room, Hanna had
fresh-brewed coffee and a selection of appetizers in front of me”, says
Richard Myers, a loyal student of GCA. Hanna holds a Bachelors Degree
from Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Education from
Hofstra University. In addition to being fluent in five languages,
Hanna has over 20 years of business experience under her belt.
Didier Baco:
CSIP, CFI, CFII, MEI
Chief Pilot / Owner
Didier
Baco, with over 4000 hours of flight experience to his credit, is both a
founding partner as well as a Flight Instructor at GCA. Didier dedicates his
time to flight training and developing new aviation programs.
Furthermore, he teaches weekly Garmin 430 seminars right at GCA. Didier
holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from France, ran a Physical
Therapy unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan, and is a
fully-certified skydiving instructor. He brings this diverse background,
as well as his elite aviation abilities to the GCA team.
Ray
Torres, Jr.:
Director of Operations

Ray Torres, Jr.
with over 12 years of experience in the Aviation industry, brings expertise in: Aircraft Management,
Aircraft Acquisition Consultation, Aircraft Sales, Flight Training
Operations Management, Charter Operations, and other areas of Aviation
Business. He studied at John Jay College of Criminal Justice as a
Forensic Major and also studied at the College of Aeronautics, majoring
in Airport Management. Ray’s main area of concentration at GCA is
Project Development and Aircraft Management. “I’m here to make GCA
one the key players in the Northeastern region for Aircraft
Management”, Ray states, “and to give our customers the very
best that aviation has to offer.” He currently holds a
Commercial Pilot Certificate and plans to have his ATP before
the end of March.
Olivier Demacon:
Director
of Operations
(Europe)
Our
latest member, Olivier Demacon, is in charge of Operations in Europe.
Olivier studied management in France and the US. With over 15 years in
company management and independent IT consulting for the largest real
estate network in France, he dedicates his time to developing Glass
Cockpit Aviation operations in Europe in order to provide the best
possible service to pilot and students alike. Furthermore, he
holds an FAA CFI Certificate with Instrument and Multi Engine Rating and
loves to share his passion for aviation with the entire Glass Cockpit
Aviation team.
